Detailed Commentary
Having worked in a Cafe I have always been fascinated by frothing milk. I have been aware of the Bodum frothers for a while but never used them. While staying with some friends I discovered that they had the Bodum Latteo and I started to use it - I was surprised at the good results produced and the ease of use. The foam was thick and consistent. I was even able to make Lattes with milk on the bottom, Espresso in the middle and foam on top. :-)
The frother is straightforward in use. You pour cold milk into the pot and heat it one the stove (or microwave). Once the milk is warm (but before it has reached the boiling point) you take the pot of the stove, insert the wand and move the wand up and down for a couple of minutes. The volume of the milk doubles and you end up with nice thick foam. The only drawback is that while frothing the milk tends to squirt out of the hole where the wand goes through.

Buying Experience
Good. I walked into the BODUM Home Store in Copenhagen and bought the Latteo. The staff was friendly - even got a free sample of espresso.
