I decided consciously to get the knobby instead of being pushy.
Positive Product Points
This is a very good way to steam milk at home or in camp.
Negative Product Points
There is a very similar product that has a knob adjustment instead of push button. The push button requires constant pressure. The knob can be turned on and left allowing the user to grasp the side of the pitcher to feel the heat in the milk. Yes, a thermometer can be used but I like to feel the milk coming to temp.
Detailed Commentary
I do not own this particular item but one very similar. I studied it online for sometime while it was "unavailable" and eventually decided against it. I own a graziella that is stainless steel with a fine tuning adjustment knob. I use it at home and while camping and report that it works wonderfully on a variety of stoves. I prefer a small Century propane or MSR Whisperlite. In combination with a stovetop espresso maker and the right coffee it truly is bringing that taste of home with you. The surrounding mountains become your "third place"
