I ordered this tamper from David based on a review by another Coffee Geek user. Boy, am I glad I did. They always tell you to go heavy when you're looking for a tamper, and this one fits the bill perfectly. It's also very beautiful: polished rosewood handle and a perfectly honed base (it may be aluminum, but it feels like solid steel). I've only had it for a week, but it produces a better tamp even than the Reg Barber one I bought online just a few weeks ago. The other thing about David is that he packs the tamper so carefully. It was double-wrapped in bubblewrap, so the tamper arrived in mint condition. Would definitely buy from him again.
