Detailed Commentary

After buying a close-out on eBay that busted within four days, I decided to spend up for a quality tamper. I succeeded with the Bumper, which looks and feels great thanks to the heavyweight stainless-steel base and rubber-ball handle. Pro baristas pay attention to the ergonomics and feel of a tamper, and that certainly is important if you're cranking out shots for a living. But as a relative newbie making 2-3 doubles at home each day, I'm also appreciating what the Bumper seems to be doing for my technique. The included rubber dock is a nice touch, though it seems a little like an answer to a question nobody was asking. I'm not sure storing this thing naked in the pantry is gonna hurt it, but who knows? It looks cool.

Buying Experience

Home-espresso.com -- no problems.
