Bottom Line: Great tamper that will provide many years of service.
Positive Product Points

The BEST tampers.  I've used their tampers for over 5 years and wouldn't think about using anything else. Overall quality and comfort are far superior to others I've tried.

Negative Product Points

Had a minor issue with the finish on one of them, but Reg handled the problem swiftly (no pun intended), and I haven't had any other problems.

Detailed Commentary

I've got big hands so the tall handle fits like a glove. I believe that Reg has a style that will fit just about anyone no matter what their size.  I have always been partial to their wood finishes mainly due to the better balance when fitted to a stainless steel base.  I like the delron cap epoxied into the top of the handle - no need to worry about putting any nicks into the beautiful wood. As long as the handle isn't exposed to too much moisture it should last a very long time while still looking great.

Buying Experience

Bought through both Reg Barber himself and Chris' Coffee - both provided exceptional service and were very easy to deal with.
