I was looking for a product for storing my daily beans and one for long term since I've bought several bags of beans to try. I read in other reviews that the seal wouldn't last more than a few days. That is the case with mine. The seal was all gone in three days. I pumped it up moderately first and then I pumped it hard for the next time. still lost the seal. Not sure whether its the valve thing or the rubber seal around the container top that fails.
I still have bottles of scotch that I sealed up with the old style vacu vin in the late 80s that are still sealed. Of course that is sealing against a glass bottle and the design seems better.
