Heats up fast. I like the looks of it. Easy to clean
Negative Product Points
Not the machines fault but it is a pourover and I do have to fill the resevoir alot. This machine does run hot and I run about 8 ounces before I pull my first shot. The instructions did not say anything about the water softner cartridge and very little about care for the machine. The crema manufacturer site has some good info for maintence. The drip tray is a little on the cheapie side
Detailed Commentary
I upgraded from a starbucks barista to this used Expobar pulsar from a fellow coffee geek who had upgraditis. The machine was 7 months old when I purchased and I received an inperson demo. Great experience thanks ejeckhart. This machine is easy to use when making a latte I grind my beans then purge the wand and start stretching my milk, then I run the 6 to 8 ounces through the portafilter to bring the temp down, when I sink the wand in the milk that is when I fill the portafilter and pull my first shot. I also make americanos more than I used to as the espresso shot tastes much better than the baristas. I gotta say heat exchange is the way to go. This machine does take alot of flushing for me on average 8 ounces before I pull a shot if the machine has been on for awhile. I find this machine much easier to use than the barista and much faster. I also emailed whole latte love with some questions and It took about a week but I got answers. I would place an order with them.
