Detailed Commentary
There‘s only a limited selection of quality home espresso machines available in Moscow (only one store that sells consumer-level Italian machines). I‘d hoped to get a Rialto Sylvia, but having used it for a couple of months, I‘m more than happy with the Faema. It cost US$420, which ain‘t cheap, but it makes far better expresso than my previous Ufesa pump model; no comparison, really - just as easy to use but can take a much finer grind without choking, makes a rich, never-bitter espresso with fine crema (without any crema-enhancing gadgets in the portafilter). Built to last for years.
