Now that I'm up and running I'm REALLY happy with my new Titanium SS and can't wait to show it off to my guests. Super Auto's rock and the SS is "Best in class".
Positive Product Points
Beautiful machine, super easy to operate, very customizable and so far I've gotten really good results. I think after I've refined my coffee dosage and brew levels the final results will be even better. Looking at various sites for recommendations for these settings.
Negative Product Points
The first unit shipped to me has a pump problem and had to be returned so I'm a little nervous about the fragility of the the internal plastic parts. This is based on my experience and other reviews I've read. The second unit is flawless so far.
The initial priming of the water pumping system is critical should have more instruction on this in the box. Could use a better english manual. Also switching from regular coffee to decaf is pretty much a non-starter. I'll keep my X1 around for decaf but not a big deal re
Detailed Commentary
These are early days for me with the Titanium and super automatic coffee making in general but I'm already impressed with the machine and how simple the thing is to use! Out of the box the single cup setting delivered too much (water) and not quite enough coffee but I'm trying new settings everyday and I'm pretty sure I'll have it perfected this weekend. WLL shipped me a nice big bag of Lavazzia "Super Crema" coffee with the unit but I'm not really liking the taste, the beans I get from Whole Foods here in NYC are much better.
So far my Titanium does not leak and is very consistant from shot to shot. I will update this review after a couple of weeks of regular usage.
Buying Experience
While I did have to get the first unit replaced Whole Latte Love was very patient (I was quite upset) and provided great service and a great price. These machines are somewhat fragile and susceptable to damage from rough handling during shipping but WLL does a very good packaging job.
