Detailed Commentary

I owned this machine for less than  one year before it began to act up. I previously used the impeccable Andreja Premium for 5 years without trouble. The Duetto began to pump hot water into the service reservoir and would shut down.  Chris coffee had me ship it back for free repairs, but the shipping was quite expensive on this 80 lb machine. It came back with a broken copper line to the pressure gage, which I was able to fix. The machine never worked right after that. It would spew large volumes of hot water out of the steaming boiler, and never was a very good steamer after the repair. Then the whole machine began to spring leaks and shorted out permanently. Rather than throw more good money after bad, I moved it to my closet, now $2300 poorer and without my dream rein boiler machine. My Andreja Premium was dusted off, put back into service, where it has been performing flawlessly after 10 years of use. I would not buy another Izzo product. Their build quality is below that of Coffee Mill. The Izzo product has a very cramped interior, and has little tolerance between parts in its interior. Buyer beware, but perhaps Izzo has addressed it's initial manufacturing problems. But I'm Still stuck with an expensive failure sitting in my pantry closet.

Buying Experience

Chris Coffee is the best place to buy coffee equipment by far.
