Bottom Line: Machine Makes very very good coffee drinks.  The dual boiler feature is fantastic.   I use it stand alone with no hookups and an happy with it.  Negative:  Too much shiny steel
Positive Product Points

Very easy to use, can be used completely stand alone with a regular 115V outlet.  Doesn't take long to power up to temperature to be ready to use.  Machine is consistent.  User (me) unfortunately not so consistent which keeps it fun.  Plenty of pump power and very good steam.  Refilling water is easy if you have overhead space, just lift top and pour water into plastic reservoir.  Parts are provided for plumbing water service and drain.

Negative Product Points

Way too much shiny steel.  Aesthetically it will appeal to some but not so much to me.  Mine arrived with damage due to vibration or freezing (copper capillary tube arrived broken going to the pump pressure gauge).  New part was shipped immediately which I was able to replace.  This is also a "positive" of the product in that it's design seems quite service friendly.  Something to think of long term.  Requires space over machine to refill stand alone.

Detailed Commentary

I can't say this has been a trouble free experience, but I can say the two issues I had were dealt with immediately with very little effort.  The first issue was the broken capillary tube, which was easier than it looked to replace.  The second issue was not really an issue, the steam wand began to stick.   A new wand was sent out and it has been great ever since.  Again, servicing this machine has been, and hopefully will be quite easy.  The biggest compliment I can say about this machine is that the resulting coffee it produces is what makes the beans, instead of requiring exceptional beans to make great coffee.  Yes the experience varies with the beans but I can't seem to brew a bad cup.  I had a machine previously that was "super automatic" and would make marginal coffee with marginal consistency.  That machine was about the same price,  I've seen reviews of people raving over that machine but having gone from that to this I've got to believe some folks are very positive people with very low bars who may be blissful in their own ignorance, not  a bad way to be!

Buying Experience

I purchase a lot of stuff online.  One of my favorite outfits is Amazon.  Chris Coffee is high on my list of good places to shop.  Price was great, shipping was great.  Most importantly, issues were dealt with in a way that I preferred, rather than  requiring shipping RMA or on-site service which is painful and slow.  Answers to my questions over time were also above average.
