when it worked , it was great. that was for about two consecutive weeks. i have spent over $1000.00 in service calls and am giving it away to the technician because unless you know how to among other things, replace the boiler and the vacuum pump, this is not the machine for you.
Negative Product Points
the first one delivered was destroyed, the second was defective and despite numerous repairs, i have had to put it in my garage to prevent my wood floors from being further damaged by the leaking water. the detailed problems below.
Detailed Commentary
first the tubes coming off the boiler were leaking because one of the o-ring type seals was old and as such that portion needed to be replaced. then the machine would not steam propoerly. then the machine needed the NSF component to be replaiced because it was pouring so much water, the drip tray overflowed. lately - there is no pressure necessitating the vacuum pump to be replaced and lastly, the boiler when the machine is turned on leaks from the gaskets that are supposed to keep the pressured water in tightly.
Buying Experience
i bought from chris coffee - i will never buy from them again and you can easily draw your own conclusions as to the reasons why given that i am giving this machine away rather than deal with the nightmare of returning it and getting my money back.
