The machine has a good solid build. The water temperature, offset, and dosing are all easily set to your own liking. A good buy especially is you are making the leap to a "real" espresso machine.

If there was an LED light or 2 next to the brew head area would be very helpful and aesthetically pleasing.

I purchased the 20 amp set up with the direct plumb option. I know there are fancier models out there in the in the prosumer market but this machine has everything I want in a home unit. I am not a Barista but do enjoy a good espresso based drink in the evening. I crank it up about an hour before I'm ready and by the time I make my latte/capp the cups and brew head are all hot and ready to go. It doesn't take an hour, but I like the cups warmed up. It is easy to set the options but I would suggest keeping the manual handy in a drawer close to the unit. There is too much to remember off the top of your head. It is easy to clean and comes with the necessary tools to do so.

Chris Coffee was awesome. I called and talked to them when I was ready to get my new machine. I wanted the red one since I had a black S1 for 6 years. It arrived in a huge double cardboard extra strong box with no damage. Thanks Chris Coffee. I'll be calling in another 6 or 7 years to upgrade to the newest model!
