Detailed Commentary
This is my first purchase and I went for broke, buying this along with the mazzer mini e. I have heard many times that equipment doesnt make the barista but let me let you in on a secret. On a 1-2 shot a day routine, I am quickly pouring latte art and making killer coffee. If you have the money to plonk down, plonk it down on this machine and a superior grinder. It's too easy I feel guilty for the folks who can't scrape up the funds for one of these.
I bought the optional timer and it is great. I keep the machine on 7a-7p. It steams like a crazy man and makes exceptional shots and milk drinks. I started thinking I only drink straight shots but it got me hooked on macchiati and I love em. It's hard not to get great microfoam with this machine - and early on too.
It's a rotary machine with a driect plumb option - find that somewhere else why don't cha? I had a hole drilled into my granite top and it hooked up in a flash.
If you buy it, you will love it. I can't see how you couldn't.
Buying Experience
Chris' has a well deserved reputation. I almost went with the Brewtus 2 and that machine is more beautiful but I had service concerns with WLL as have many others. Turns out my machine had a quirk on arrival and a new one arrived the next day from Chris and they picked up the old one. They helped with everything - technique, pre sale info, post sale follow up. Everything. I would go so far as to say that you should choose Chris' FIRST and then buy a product that they carry.
