Detailed Commentary
This is my first espresso machine. So I can't compare it to any other machine. As a home roaster and an avid coffee geek I wanted to get a machine that would last me forever without the urge to upgrade. This machine is solid, beautiful, easy to use and clean. The shots I pull are very consistent. Steaming milk is no problem at all, I can even steam milk while my shot is pouring. I have it hooked up to 15 amp circuit and it works great. Only one boiler goes on at a time and the group boiler gets priority. I believe that on 20 amp both boilers can go on simultaneously. But so far I have no need to upgrade my circuit and I don't believe I ever will. The machine gets to temperature very fast and will take no time at all between shots to return to it's temperature. No problem at all doing shots back to back on this machine. Adjusting the brew temperature and dosing is very easy. The instruction manual was clear and detailed. Very happy with this purchase.
Initially I was hesitant to buy a machine at this price point but I am very happy I did. You get what you pay for and this machine is fantastic!
Buying Experience
Joe and his staff at Caffe Tech were able to answer my questions and concerns regarding the product I purchased. Either by phone or email they were always quick to reply. A few times I received a reply by email minutes after sending them one, the first time this happened I was convinced that it was an automated reply but it wasn't. Joe would already have read and answered most of my questions and would inform me that his staff would contact with more information shortly. And they did. They were amazing.
The product was received promptly after ordering. The product was double boxed and very well packaged. After initially setting the machine up I had a few questions and was able to get Joe on the phone in no time. He answered all my questions and had me going in no time.
