Detailed Commentary
I spent a LOT of time on coffeegeek and HB reading prior to purchasing the mini Vivaldi. I wanted to make sure I got the right machine and wouldn't be looking to upgrade in a year or so. The most important thing to me in getting a new machine was ease of use in getting the best espresso. With the help and guidance of Chris at Chris' Coffee, I decided that a double boiler was the way to go as both my spouse and I love milk based drinks. The other factor that was important to me was durability or service availability if needed. I knew Chris coffee would stand behind their product if needed - so far, the machine has worked flawlessly!! It does an amazing job steaming milk and making microfoam - almost effortlessly. As a relative novice to the espresso world, I can honestly say the mini-vivaldi does an exceptional job and is extremely easy to use.
Buying Experience
Chris' Coffee hands down is the best. As one person previously commented, you first need to select the vendor, then search for the machine you want. Based on all the reviews I read, I knew Chris' Coffee was the right one to go with. Chris thoughtfully responded to all my emails and phone calls and help direct me to what he thought was the best product to suit my needs. I must admit I had some doubts at first, I really wanted to go with a nice looking HX machine, but instead Chris pointed me towards the Mini Vivaldi and boy, I'm sure glad he did! I love this machine and highly recommend Chris' Coffee.

One Year Followup
I have had the Mini Vivaldi II for a full year and remain very happy with it. The machine has operated flawlessly. I typically have 3-4 espressos per day/7days week, and the Mini Vivaldi II has performed exceptionally well. I stand by my original comments that this is one of the best machines in its class and I would not hesitate to buy it again.
