Bottom Line: Breaks down a lot; difficult and sometimes impossible to repair--I'd avoid it if I were you.
Positive Product Points

Produces a good espresso with rich crema.  Easy to operate and easy to look at.

Negative Product Points

Breaks down often; difficult and expensive to repair.  Eventually died because parts no longer available.

Detailed Commentary

Had this machine for years, used a couple of times a day for espresso, and my wife used it frequently throughout the day for tea (hot water).   My experience was that once every 2 years it needed servicing.  I'd be without it for 6 weeks typically, and the bill was usually around $500.  Even Pasquini authorized repair people do not seem to understand or be able to fix these machines.

Worst part:  the inner workings of the machine have changed over the years, and parts eventually become unavailable.  There aren't standard parts for the controller for example.  Mine just went (another $500-600 in theory) and I'm told that there is no controller available for it because it's too old.  My repair guy contacted Pasquini directly to confirm this.  So now I have a nice piece of stainless steel.

Buying Experience

Ebay -- no problems.
