Super machine. Well built and a wondeful addition to any kitchen or low volume restaurant. If this is in your price range it is worth a serious look.
Positive Product Points
Large capacity 4 litre boiler. Procon pump. Fully programmable dosing as well as programmable tea button.
Negative Product Points
Really are none. It should be plumbed directly both for drain and water supply but can be used without. This could be a negative in some cases. It is also large and will not fit under kitchen cabinets.
Detailed Commentary
I originally had a Gaggia Paros which was an OK machine for my house however I felt it was time to move up.
I purchased the S27 which is Rancilio's smallest commercial grade automatic machine. The first time I made an espresso and cappuccino I knew my money was well spent. I can brew espresso and steam milk at the same time. My two hands are not fast enough to outrun the machine. It will make coffee as fast as I can work. I had to adjust the boiler pressure and water level to get it into my personal "sweet spot" but certainly nothing too difficult. A truly well built machine. It is night and day over any home machine....as it should be for the price.
If you are a coffee lover it is definitely worth the price of admission.
