Detailed Commentary

We are novices in the art of coffee making but after being in the U.S. for a few years and generally getting miserable excuses for coffee, we thought it was time to invest in a good quality machine.  Much time was spent on researching but when we read the review for the Vibiemme (well done CoffeeGeek) and that modifications were going to be made to it, we were sold.

One thing to think about, the accessibility of the water tank is a nuisance, it is under the top tray, and if you want to store pretty looking espresso cups on it like I do, it is a real pest to have to take them off each time you need to fill it up - which is quite a lot for us!  Our friend has an espresso machine that allow access through the side, allowing her to take out the entire water container - a much better idea.  But really, this is such a small issue, it doesn't affect our enjoyment of the machine at all.

It takes a wee while to heat up the machine but once it gets there it maintains the heat really well.

Kudos to you Vibiemme, a lovely machine.

Buying Experience

Bought online via Stefano's Espressso Care - a truly professional business with a nice personal feel to it.  Will do business with them again, in fact, we are getting our grinder there too!  Thank you.
