Detailed Commentary
I have moved up the food chain with the various machines (Livia 90, Silvia) I have owned. Got into the endless loop of looking at various coffee Websites and reading EVERYTHING possible BEFORE making another decision. Finally purchased the Domobar Super. My training on other machines helped me do justice to this machine. It is big, but fits perfectly out from under the cabinets. I like pour over feature. Great steam! The machine in NOT the variable anymore, it is ME! Honing my skills with bean roasting, grinding, tamping and pulling! It has made me realize how much my skills determine the quality of my coffee. The continuous search for the "perfect" machine at times is NOT time well spent. This will hold me for a long time!
Buying Experience
No problems! I was worried about the long distance with shipping, but I guess it made it to the states from Italy. Extremely well packed. Save the boxes for future use! I have called the vendor once and corresponded with E-mail for a few questions that were quickly answered! Just got a CD-ROM with 44 page manual written by vendor specifically for US VBM Domobar Customers. Very helpful!
