The Innova Dream is the top line machine currently from Ascaso. Much of the machine's cost is around the housing and outer materials used. It contains the same inner parts that other Innova espresso machines have.

Bottom Line: This Ascaso machine really is "a dream" to use, making excellent espresso for home with loads of rich marbled crema via a 58mm pro portafilter (but it could use a pressure release valve).

Bottom Line: It's a love hate relationship with the Ascaso. I feel like I own a Volkswagon. Every Volkswagon I have met has needed odd, expensive repairs from qualified mechanics who live elsewhere - and yet we keep BUYING Volkswagons because they are so darned CUTE.
