Bottom Line: Outstanding espresso, unnaceptable service.
Positive Product Points

Outstanding espresso, because of the double wall basket.

Negative Product Points

Mickey Mouse frothing, light weight filter holder and it is very hard to knock out; usually have to wash grounds out with running water.
Poor service!!!!!!

Detailed Commentary

I actually own two units. I bot a refurbished one in Canada from Breville 4-5 years ago and it is a bit better than the new one which sits in Florida. The earlier one has a trap door on the back which makes it easy to refill. The newer one requires the reservoir to be slid out which is inconvenient. They are both noisy when fired up, but heat up quickly. The service and parts availability from Breville Canada is unacceptable and is the main reason I won't buy another. My older unit has been in the service shop for a full month in Toronto awaiting a back ordered part from Montreal which won't arrive until early June! I have had two Brasilias which were built like tanks as well as a Gaggia. Espresso machines break, so get used to it. I got instant local service on all of these units. The Breville doesn't even come close on this score, so, if you can't live without espresso at times, don't buy one, BUY TWO!

Buying Experience

Previous machine died, went to BB&B, picked up the Breville and was home in 30 minutes
