This machine at first look is very aesthetically plaesing. The dial in the center of the machine and the blue lights that surround the buttons make it stand out in your kitchen. It is very easy to use with a simple push of a button to extract coffee and the turn of the dial for steam.

The construction of the machine was suprissingly flimsy and moves when you place the filter holder in place. The filter holder however is very sturdy and heavy and feels nice in your hand. 2 size filters come with the machine that are easy to insert into the holder.

I was disapointed that the machine did not have easy access to the water chamber like the Breville 800ES does.

The volume of water that comes out with each brew seems to vary even though the machine is programmed to dispense the same amount of water each time. I actually prefered the manual operation of the Brevilee 800ES in this regard.

I was not very impressed with the steam pressure on this machine however it was probably comparable to other 15 bar pumps on the market.

As for the flavour of the coffee it was generaly pretty easy to ensure a perfect cup of coffee every time.

I have had 3 machines and they have all failed in the first 3 months, I managed to get a refund and would not purchase another breville machine again. I am very disapointed as this machine makes an extremly good cup of coffee every time.

Big W online store initially was easy to purchase from however customer service after purchase was very poor. Long waiting times on the telephone, the wrong infomation was given and it took weeks before a replacement was issued when they told me it would take 5 days. I would not buy from Big W online again.

Breville Austraila are extremly helpful and easy to deal with. It is unfortunate they made a faulty product.
