Bottom Line: For espresso drinks and full-bodied, rich coffee, the C1000 is the cremé of the crop!
Positive Product Points

Fast, easy, delicious espresso and coffee!  The C1000 makes smooth, rich, full-flavored coffee and espresso drinks and does it in a timely fashion.  No more waiting for 15-20 minutes for after dinner espresso or morning coffee!

Negative Product Points

It's a little intimidating the first time you try to use it, but gets easier with each subsequent use.  The instruction manual is very helpful explaining what all the different markings and flashing lights represent.

Detailed Commentary

I had been using an inexpensive espresso maker for a few years.  It was a pain when trying to make more than a couple latte's at a time when we had guests.  The C1000 makes multiple espresso and coffee drinks a breeze...and the flavor of the coffee is wonderful!  To date the coffee has been consistently smooth, without any bitterness.  A few of my family members had gawked at the price we paid, but changed their tune after tasting the difference the C1000 makes over their drip coffee-makers.  Make sure to thoroughly read the owners manual and watch the video for helpful tips on making the best possible cup every time you use it.

Buying Experience

After checking out various websites, we bought ours from a local kitchen store.  We figured having a local contact would be helpful if we should ever need support, and everyone seems to sell it for the same price, give or take a few dollars.
