-beautiful! -consistent pours -great steam wand -built like a tank!
Negative Product Points
-the portafilter gets a bit hot so if you're making more than one or two drinks you should place it in icewater to cool it down between pulls. -steam wand sometimes gets clogged -need to fill up water resevoir often
Detailed Commentary
I bought the Elektra Casa De Leva machine almost a year ago from a buddy and it has been used almost daily (sometime twice ;). It takes a little practice to get the coffee grind just right but once you dial it in, put in the right been (Black Cat is my current fave) you'll be enjoying amazing espresso for years to come. Why give Starbuck's your money? Oh and this machine produces virtually unending steam for frothing or for heating water. So far it's been free of defects or repair so I'm extremely satisfied with my machine.
Buying Experience
-Bought this from my friend Franz in San Diego. He was upgrading to the Elektra semi so i jumped at the chance to take it off his hands. If you get a chance to purchase one 2nd hand, it will save you hundreds.
