My partner and I love this machine for the superb rich espresso it produces every morning. We also have the legendary stove top "Atomic", which makes a better cup, but it's nowhere near as quick and easy to use as this machine. After turning it on, it's ready to use in about a minute - so fast. As long as you follow some of the basic rules of espresso making - buy good beans, freshly ground, don't let too much water through, tamp down the coffe nice and firm - you really can't go wrong. I wouldn't use pods with the Francis - or with any machine for that mattter - as the coffee is never as fresh. The water reservoir could be bigger, but, it's really not a problem unless you're really lazy.
