Detailed Commentary

I've had the Classic for a year and it is a very solid machine that produces great espresso.  A lot of commercial components and stainless steel body gives it that 'prosumer' feel.  Heats up to temp rather quickly due to the small boiler.  The fact that the heating elements are outside the boiler is a benefit in that they won't succumb to corrosion.  Can get good to great shots quite consistently.  Clear water tank allows you to see how much you have so you don't run out.  Deep drip tray is another plus.

My only two complaints would be the plastic frothing attachment because it on occasion can come off while steaming/frothing milk (turns into a mess) and the small boiler.  With the small boiler the Classic can be good for at the most 2 cappa's in a session.  I modified mine with a Silvia steam wand and that has improved frothing/steaming performance.  All in all a great espresso machine that I think is on of the best in it's class.

Buying Experience

Bought from Whole Latte Love.  Great experience, shipped promptly and have had no problems.
