Detailed Commentary
This is my first espresso machine (but I've used over a dozen others). I've had it now 8 months and I use it every day. So far so good. We'll see after a year!
Sometimes I pull half a dozen doubles in a row. I use the Rocky grinder with it. I learned the in's and out's of espresso using my Carezza and my friends Sylvia and I can honestly say I get better consistency with my Carezza even though it's 1/3 the price of the Sylvia.
This machine is not handsome and the ergonomics are dreadfully clumsy.
The value is tremendous. It heats up VERY fast. With the exception of the plastic case, it is made with very high quality components.
I've circumvented the poor ergonomics with practice and the small drip pan is improved by using a small stainless steel dish to catch my waste.
