Positive Product Points

Looks Great
Typical Solidly Built KitchenAid Product
Aesthetically the lines of the machine flow perfectly with my KitchenAid Pro Line Grinder (both are Empire Red in color)

Negative Product Points

Heavy and Big (some people might not care for this ... )

Detailed Commentary

For $199 how can you go wrong?  This was a refurbished machine I purchased direct from KitchenAid.  This is my 1st espresso machine; it has the 58mm basket.  The water receptable in the rear of the machine is large and easy to access.  The machine is solid and well built.  Heavy.  No problems whatsoever (owned 1 month so far as of this review).

Water goes to temp in record time:  2 minutes.  Very impressive.

I chose the Empire Red machine, which matches the KitchenAid Pro Line Grinder perfectly.  The 2 machines together are quite nice.

Buying Experience

Fine.  KitchenAid is easy to deal with.  No problems at all.
