Detailed Commentary
Allround a very good machine for the home barista. When used with fresh roasted and ground coffee, makes realy nice coffee. Of course, it has to be switched on about an hour before you start making coffee, to get the right temperature. Cup preheating is weak as on any such small machine, but no drama - you can pour in some hot water from the group. The machine is really sensitive to the amount of coffee used in the filter. I only use the double-filter and it has to be exactly 14g of ground coffee, not more. There is also and electrical-valve avoiding driping from the group. A manometer is also included, so you can see the pressure. I haven't used it for cappuccino - simply because there is no second boiler to make steam and the one inside is rather small. But I have seen this machine using the included capuccino maker - one part is to be put in a jar of milk, and from the nozzle milk froth is comming out. This system, after some adjustments, made better froth than I could manualy in a jar a usual steam-nozzle. Overall, after I have found a good roaster, using a vacuum jar for storing my coffee and a good grinder I don't really see a reason, why go for a coffee to a cafe. Honestly.
