Looks classy. Doesn‘t take up much space in the kitchen. With lots of practice one can make good, but not great espresso.
Negative Product Points
Noisy. Can‘t leave on 24/7. Need good arm strength to use it. Small boiler capacity. Difficult to make more than a couple drinks at a time. Be careful removing that portafilter after a pour! Filter basket is not held in the group by any friction device.
Detailed Commentary
After lots of trial and error one can get an idea by sound and timing when the temp is just right so the pour can begin. I like the machine, but after getting a Livia 90, my LaPavoni has been immediately relegated to the dustbin of my coffee history. With my Moka grinder, I was able to compare the two side by side: the Europiccola lost, no contest. Unless you‘re an old fashioned coffee snob, make life easy on yourself and get a pump machine.
