Would You Pay 50 Cents For A Perfect Cup Of Espresso
Positive Product Points
This is the ideal Espresso machine. No mess, no splatter, no water leaking, no coffee grinds, no grinding espresso beans, No guessing period !
Negative Product Points
The only negative aspect that I can see. You can only buy the coffee from one source. NESTLES ! But I really don't mind, because their standards are very high. Cost per cup...........50 cents. ( so I can't honestly say it's negative )
Detailed Commentary
Currently there are about 12 blends of espresso. Strengths run from 2 to 10 ( mild to full bodied ) depending on the "capsules" you select. The comapact SWISS machine is a precision product. The capsules look like those little plastic containers that hold Half and Half that you get in diners. Here is the scoop: Raw select beans are brought to the Swiss for blending and roasting. The beans are now ground and packed in the plastic capsules. Naturally they all hermetically sealed and have a shelf life in excess of a years. It draws a perfect shot each time. You can't screw this up. I will put this machine right on top with the very best. I can write about this machine for the next hour. The bottom line, you never tasted espresso this good, PERIOD ! When you join the Nespresso club, you are in their hands. They take very good care of the member ( free )
Buying Experience
I buy most of my small electronics at J & R music in NYC and if you ask nicely, you may get a better price.
