A machine which will produce coffee as good as you expect in a top cafe (and often don't get).
Positive Product Points
Very easy machine to use. Certainly the best of any previous machines owned. Bags of steam. Easy to clean.
Negative Product Points
The four-hole frother supplied with the machine is hopeless, too much steam which tends to boil, rather than stretch, the milk.
Detailed Commentary
The nozzle was rebuilt to match one which came with a cheaper machine purchased in Italy 15 years ago (steam pressure job - made rubbish expresso but would stretch milk beautifully). The four holes in the Oscar nozzle I plugged with 1/16 brass welding wire by filing, or grinding, a slight taper on the end then tapping into each hole before sawing off before replacing the 4 large now plugged holes by drilling two smaller holes of 1mm ( approximately 0.40" ) diameter same opposite spacing as the previous larger holes. Now works superbly quickly producing silky well stretched low-fat milk. To carry out the modification I suggest you give the job to a craftsman experienced in working with small diameter drilling such as a craft jeweler.
Buying Experience
This is the 6th machine I have owned over the last 20 years and certainly the most impressive.
