This machine will turn you into an incredible coffee snob. It is hard to match a coffee beverage prepared elsewhere (especially here in LA, where many places leave the portafilter on the counter until you are ready to order)
Initially started with Black Cat, a doserless Rocky, and double basket. We are now dialing in the triple basket to make a 2oz - ristretto - now that's real coffee flavor. We make a few cappuccinos per day at work. \
Bought a bottomless portafilter and group temperature gage
Dialed down the brew pressure to 10 (11 factory) and boiler pressure to 1.2 (1.4 factory)
This may be the end of a 10 year search for the perfect cup of coffee at work.
