Although I'm a newbie to home espresso machines I am not a newbie to coffee or what makes a well engineered product. The Silvano is an excellent machine, from the layout of the controls to the full 304 stainless steel construction.
Has all the desirable features that you hear discussed on the forums: PID, brass boiler, pressure gauge, ability to steam and brew at the same time, quick warm up, quick recovery, so heavy and stable you can easily work the portafilter without holding the machine with your other hand, full stainless steel (even the frame), huge drip tray, side slide out water tank, makes filling it super easy (tell me how you'd like a heavy top fill machine that sits under your cabinet, you wouldn't)........... I can go on and on here but it has all been said before, this is a EXCELLENT machine.
