Makes terrific coffee. Easy to adjust to just the right fineness point.

I loved my Rancilio Silvia, until it broke after a little over two years use. Some electrical switch, I suspect, for it simply would not come on. It makes no noise, just sits there.
I looked and looked  for a place to repair it, and discovered that 1-st line equipment in New York is  the only place to get it repaired. I sent it there exactly two months ago, and they haven't gotten around to doing anything  yet.
They say they are swamped with work, so maybe it's not their fault. But Rocky broke far too quickly, and it will take far too long to get it repaired. And, I'm already out $150 for postage and a repair estimate. That $750 for two years
use.

So while I loved my machine while it lasted--it didn't last very long for the money I paid.

What more do you need to know? Good machine, broke down too quickly.
