I just purchased this machine to replace my Delonghi “Viacrappa” (see review) and find it is a well designed and built machine that (can) makes very good espresso.

Detailed Commentary
I purchased my Silvia from Morala Trading (in Ottawa, www.morala.com) for $700.00 CDN and find that it is good value. The Silvia is a well constructed machine with a strongly supported dealer network. For the price, I don’t think you could find better value. This machine is built like a tank! I would highly recommend Morala Trading (especially to our Canadian coffee drinkers; no duty, easy warranty repairs and you don’t have to deal with Mr Cappuccino out of Calgary whose reputation leaves much to be desired), their service is first rate and all repairs are made on their premises.
note: it is best to place your order via telephone, the price on their site is somewhat inflated, talk to Hamid.
