Ok. so I've owned this machine for about 2.5 years, i love it ! i use it every day at least once if not three or four times. It can use pods, but i never have. I love to try all types of coffee in the machine, the finer the grind the better the coffee is. First 6 month just used it as original just surfed the temps, it was ok most of the time but then i brought a PID and all the other parts real cheap and have never looked back. it was real simple to add this feature.I have only ever used filtered water in it and it heats to 225F within a couple of minutes and just sits there and the creme is just perfecto! quality of the build of this machine is awesome. I would not hesitate to recommend this unit to anyone.
