Outstanding machine- wouldn‘t leave home with out it!
Positive Product Points
It has a big portafilter that makes great coffee. The three way valve makes a nice dry puck of used coffee grounds that can be discarded with one knock- no more mud!
Negative Product Points
It does take quite a bit longer to heat up compared to most machines, but the wait is well worth it. A bigger water container and a clear window to see water level would be nice.
Detailed Commentary
The best machine that I have ever used. I really was seeking a machine that would give me a Starbucks quality coffee and the Silivia delivers. There is a noticable difference in the quality of espresso that any person who truly enjoys espresso drinks would appreciate. Takes a bit of getting used to tough. Do get a rocky grinder with your purchase, freshly ground beans every morning makes a huge difference in taste. The days of paying 5 bucks for an espresso drink are over--i‘ll make my own.
