Detailed Commentary
I am simply amazed at the quality of this machine. In a world where quality is hit or miss...the Siliva hits hard and solid.
As the result of poverty :) i owned the small Krups expresso machine. You know, the silly little joke at department stores. When it died, i actually went to buy another small "affordable" machine. I went to look and then decided to do some research.
As i started to dig into real espresso machines and the world of great espresso...i realized that i had missed the "coffee" party for many years. I dug in deeper and found some money and than bought a great machine.
What i noticed first was that the Siliva had the most reviews out of all the machines i looked at... and, out of these reviews it had the highest average rating.
I have had the machine for about three years. I use it everyday... sometimes twice or three times. I have had zero problems with it with the one exception of the steamed wand dripping a little. I have to crank down the valve super tight to minimize or stop the dripping. This is the only negative and it really is minor when compared to the overall quality and consistent espresso.
This machine has worked steadfast and with consistent quality. The espresso is great. The crema is wonderful. I also use the doserless Silvia Rocky grinder set at 12.
Overall, I highly recommend this machine to any first time and long time espresso drinkers... it is a great prosumer machine and very much worth the money. As i travel, i often stop at local coffee places to try the local roasts and expresso from the large and beautiful commercial machines... these pulls are usually very good, but no better than what i can pull off of the Silvia Rancilio.

Great Infusions was a joy to buy from and offered the best deal with their bundle options.
