Shoddy workmanship, uses metals that rust - SO - machine will only last until it rusts into a pile of dust

I contacted Rancilio, and was ignored. The lower frame, where water collects in any espresso making activity, is made of rustable steel so the base of my Silvia is rusting away. I have had to strip the puckering rust spots, remove the rust as best as I am able to do, then prime and paint the spots with rustoleum.
I should not have to do this after paying $730 for the machine.
Your rust problems won't show up for several years, so don't be lulled into reading favorable reviews about this flawed product.
Customer support is non-existent on this matter. The company specializes very well in silence and ignoring the plight of an unsuspecting consumer who purchases their 'Rustable Espresso Machine"
