Bottom Line: great machine  has a boiler reset button if it overheats and quits working reset your boiler and it will work like new
Positive Product Points

i have had this machine for over 7 years......if it overheats the boiler will shut down  there is a boiler reset button inside the machine....it will not do anything when it shuts down so if this happens to u  google rancilio siliva boiler reset and it will show you the little reset button....it will then work again perfectly...better than starting a fire....

Negative Product Points

slight rusting in bottom tray after 5 years...expected

Detailed Commentary

love my machine  have reset my boiler twice without difficulty.....you need to get the right grind and tamp properly for a good shot  its not for you if you dont want to experiment....if i get espresso grind from starbucks  i have to just tamp very lightly...if its too course you will get a very fast shot with no crema...
so it takes a week to get adapted...i purchased a fairly cheap burr grinder but it did not grind fine enough for my machine....so do not try a cheap burr grinder with this machine it will not grind fine enough for a good shot.....i have had this  machine for 7 years with no problems...i left in on twice and had to reset the boiler....it just turns off will not do anything....there is a little reset button inside  if i had not known this i would have ended up throwing it away.......

Buying Experience

jl hufford online was great
