Buy the sucker. It works great for me. I get good capps. out of it, for cheap.
Positive Product Points
Very easy to use. Makes good espresso. Very quick heat up time = 90sec. & very quick goes over to steam mode. I'm glad I bought the thing. -Once I served about 70-80 caps. at a party-worked great.
Negative Product Points
Outer plastic shell. Lots of plastic. Water resevoir too small (ain't a big deal if 'ya gotta sink next to it.) No by pass switching valve to alternate bean type (decaff.)
Detailed Commentary
Overall, this is a good machine. I use it 1-2 times a day. It heats up quick and I get esp. cap. at the touch of a button. It's good and fun to own. Its got knobs that control the amount of water and espresso for each shot. (good control) It isn't beautiful (I like metal better) -but it doesn't look too bad. I would recomend that you buy this machine. It's much cheaper than most espresso machines & includes a good conical burr grinder with it. Clean up ain't bad. One thing that wasn't good was that the tool used to open the filter is a cheap plastic deal that broke upon my fist attempt to open the filter. It's ok though. I just use a wrench now when I need to clean the filter. (Not a big deal)
