Detailed Commentary
We purchased the machine and loved it for 6 months. It appeared to be a great value for the money, including a bean grinder and one touch espressos. The milk foaming was somewhat inconsistent, but overall performed well, and the espresso was good. However, after 6 months, the grinder malfunctioned and the motor burned out. We had to send it back to Saeco, and they repaired it. We had it back less than two weeks and it happened again. Had to send it back to Saeco once again. Now we are keeping our fingers crossed that it will last for the long term!
Buying Experience
Our experience with Bed and Bath was great. Quick shipping and very helpful. When the machine broke, we had to go through Saeco, and that has been a very disappointing experience. They have been very unresponsive and unapologetic for the trouble we have had with their product. They sent our machine back to us after the last repair, damaged, and now rather than replacing the unit, they simply sent us a demo unit. Difficult to get responses to emails and phone calls.
