Positive Product Points

Easy entry level at time of purchase

Negative Product Points

older design even seven years ago it was a compromise! At the time you couldn't get anything under $1000 with a bypass doser and this unit could be run on a water line, a feature just as rare today!

Detailed Commentary

I've owned this for seven years and while it still works it now leaks water and grounds on the counter. They can still be bought new in 2007 and are worth buying for first time super automatic users on a budget. You used to be able to direct pipe this just like a ice maker but I am unsure if this feature is still offered on the cheaper model. This simple unit is reliabe and cheap so search it out at lesser known retailers where it is still caried some advertize here on coffee geeks! The brew group is standard Saeco fair and is used on almost all its product and seems to be very reliable. I loved the convenience but will seek a bypass doser, ceramic grinder and dual boilers on my new machine!

Buying Experience

Buying from Aabree is quick and easy...... customer support is a different issue all together though!
