Definitely buy this machine if you can find one for a good price. I suggest looking on craigslist or Ebay. Don't be too afraid to try a used machine as these really do last for a long time. It really is a great price for a great machine. This the 3rd machine (all the same) I have used. My Father has had one for 7+years, I got one 2 years ago and just purchase a 3rd as a gift. Easy machine to use for a first timer and continues to make great espresso for years. The starbucks Barista is easy to clean and fix if needed. Changed the pump out once but it wasn't necessary as I found the problem in the protafilter. Still makes great coffee after years of use.
