solid machine. good support, rapportafilter had a crack at the bottom and was replaced quickly after a call to the 800 number.
when making more than two shots of espresso the quality is affected by some of the coffee remaining in the rapporta filter.it may be okay for a late but the taste of an espresso shot is affected by it. no amount of rinsing or shaking will empty it. allowing it to drain for several hours on the counter will drain most of it. it is okay for milk based drinks but an inadequate machine for making a good espresso.
This is the only reason why I will never buy this machine again.
