easy to use - simple filter basket loading easy to fill with water no complicated tubes or moving spray heads or basket locks or releases

filter basket shutoff valve lever pops out and the spring flys across the kitchen if you bump it while handling or washing or loading easy to lose spring
replacement filter basket from black and decker took so long (3 months) they gave me a free rebuilt brewer (different model) while i waited, presume the smart brew filter basket was back ordered cause there were so many being replaced????

simple pulse pump coffee maker not particularly high quality... never checked temp but presume its low and pump operation doesn't steep grinds long enough before delivery into pot.
brew time is typical.. steamy noisey gurgles, coffee spashes against back of brewer.... tendancy to spash grinds out of paper filter when filled for 12 cups.
Loads easily cleans easily
The search continues for a commercial like simple sub $100 brewer for 12 cups with a thermal pitcher that produces 200 degree water into a simple removable filter basket with no latches, springs, levers, etc.
(would buy a bunn but i make 1/2 a pot a day and don't want constant heat device on 24x7 )
