Beats glass carafe‘s by a mile. Vaccuum seals.
Coffee is HOT and FRESH for a long time in the thermos container. Consistant performance, easy clean-up.
Small valve below the basket sometimes needs extra care, or you get drips when you remove the thermos. Spout dribbles when halting pouring.
Positive and Negative features pretty well sums it up. Best auto coffee maker I have ever owned. If you hate old burnt coffee, this is the model that will keep coffee fresh a long time. Got it as a steal in a damaged box for $22.00 CAN
