Makes great coffee as long as you make 8 cups.
Easy set up and fill.

Negative Product Points

Not hot or strong with 4-5 cups.

Detailed Commentary

This product only works well if you are brewing 8 cups.   My average is 4-5 cups as I use every morning.  For 4-5 cups, the coffee comes out weak and not hot enough.   I was very surprised at coffee strength for a 1/2 pot.  I use one scoop per cup.  (I'm not sure of exact scoop measurement but it's a bit more than 1 Tblsp)   With 4-5 cups made the coffee was weak.  When 8 cups made, it was just fine and hot enough.
I so wanted to love this machine as I had read so many great reviews and they are all true as long as you brew 8 cups.   I even contacted Bonavita who confirmed this machine is not made to brew a half pot.
As soon as I find a man who likes coffee and will move in, I'll buy this again.  For now, I sent back.

Buying Experience

Easy - Amazon.
